I had the exact same experience and it was why I canceled my Claude subscription and switched to open models exclusively. Like, I have a test account, it has completely locked down permissions, and I can't get Claude to just use it to run simple integration tests. Instead it demands I set up some incredibly complex and fragile system for manually pulling tokens out of the browser before running automated tests, which is insane and utterly unworkable. …
