Got in the way: Codex slow, buggy, browser control, fan issues.
… I can’t no matter what get it to control its own browser and fan spins out of control on decently new laptop. I tried Claude and it’s much better experience, got a bookkeeping workflow setup with xero mcp and reading my emails finding invoices in no time. Codex has been great for plain coding jobs though.
